Save Saturday 16th March in your diary for our annual Norooz (New year) Party.

Term is about to start again and we will be having an Open Afternoon at the centre to show the activities that are available for children and young people.

The event features Farsi language workshops, sports, dance workshops, arts and crafts, a photography exhibition (including photos from Iran and Afghanistan), refreshments including homemade food and other nibbles and much more.

It runs from 1.30pm to 4.30pm at Woolwich Common Youth Hub, Block two, Nightingale Place, Woolwich, SE18 4HX this Saturday, 22nd September 2012.

Some of the children recently spent a couple of hours on the Thames at the Ahoy Centre in Deptford, either sailing or rowing.

The AHOY Centre provides life changing water activities and a community for adults and young people, whether able-bodied disabled.

Please ensure you wear suitable clothing and foot wear (sports loose clothing and trainers).

There is a picnic area so please bring food/soft drink to have a picnic for 1pm.
